Fog Harvesting

The harvesting of Fog is an innovative technology to collect/store excess water vapor in areas of suitable climate. With large expanses of fine mesh nylon or polypropylene netting arranged perpendicularly to the prevailing winds, the dew collected from the fog aggregates and trickles down (due to gravity) into small gutters at the base of the screen. This gutter can be channeled to a much larger cistern or storage container for alternate use. Given this research, we may feel inspired to design a site-specific prototype given this research.
