We are thinking of the flower, not only as an element to capture water, but in many other dimensions:

(pickles pavillion by LIFT architects)

(ball-nogues studio)
- the spacial quality that we can create below the flower, a shaded fresh space for gathering, living, and social interaction

(ball-nogues studio & iwamoto-scott)
-the flower as an artistic expression, a new icon in a community

(michelle brand)
- the educative opportunity that the flower offers, as it is transparent people can watch and understand the process easily
- the flower as a beautiful light object, providing a space where people can gather at night; and, it can provide its own electricity for lighting as well as for community use, if we add turbines to the mechanism of water capture
